Overview

Maintenance Engineer - Continental Shift - Commercial building - Battersea - Temp to perm - up to £21p/h

My client is looking for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Battersea. The successful candidate will be mechanically / electrically biased (C&G / NVQ 2 or 3). Working with the maintenance team on site, the role involves carrying out general building maintenance in a commercial environment. The company is offering an hourly rate of £20-21p/h.

Hours of work and Salary

£20-21p/h (paid via umbrella)

Continental Shift: 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00. Overtime available. Salary £38k - £40k.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Re-set
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Monitor mechanical plant
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Water Treatment
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Cold)

Requirements

• Experience working in a large commercial building, willing to learn
• Maintenance experience not necessary as training can be provided
• DBS required
• Mechanical or Electrical qualifications (NVQ 2 or 3 / C&G)
• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
• Prior experience working in commercial building maintenance advantageous
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer skills
• Must be able to get to site for 07:00 start
• Availability for a Teams call prior to starting
