Overview

Maintenance Engineer (Plant) – Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Maintenance Engineer within the Maintenance & Facilities department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.

This Maintenance Engineer position is permanent and available due to continued growth and expansion. The primary responsibility is to ensure the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment and facility areas, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair all equipment and facility areas to agreed standard, with the ability to identify detailed faults.
  • Complete daily checks to machines and equipment, including statuary checks, within skills capabilities and approvals.
  • Work shift and provide out of hour call in support.
  • Identify spares required in proactive timescales.
  • Ensure all duties are undertaken in compliance with Safety, Environmental Regulations and Company procedures.
  • Demonstrate awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company's environmental procedures.
Skills and Experience / Qualifications
  • Extensive experience preferably within a similar role within plant maintenance
  • Mechanical/electrical background
  • Working at heights
  • Knowledge of pipework (PVC)
  • Good understanding of pumps & motors
  • Preferred understanding of gas ovens / chiller units / rectifiers

Shift Pattern and Salary

Double day shift Monday to Friday, alternating one week of 6am to 2pm and one week of 2pm to 10pm shifts.

Salary up to £34,078 per year.
