Our client is a market leader in their industry, committed to rethinking retail through digital innovation. Due to continued success and expansion, they are seeking to recruit multiple multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers and Technicians.

Role Overview

Based in Bolsover, as a Maintenance Engineer, you will provide site-based engineering support to minimize downtime and ensure the availability of automated equipment. You will support the shift maintenance team with a proactive approach to improve performance and reliability, working on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (rotation of days/nights - 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am).

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform PPM, corrective maintenance, and repairs on automated equipment.
2. Conduct planned and reactive repairs on MHE including conveyors, sorters, shuttles, and robotics.
3. Fault-finding and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
4. Respond promptly to automation faults to minimize downtime.
5. Prioritize system faults and optimize uptime and equipment availability.
6. Complete reports using CMMS and Microsoft software.
7. Ensure compliance with H&S legislation.
8. Participate in upgrades, installation, commissioning, and testing of equipment enhancements.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have a recognised engineering apprenticeship, ONC or equivalent in a relevant discipline (multiskilled preferred), with at least 3 years of experience working with automated material handling systems, ideally in warehousing/distribution environments. Ability to work safely at heights and understand mechanical, electrical, and electronic manuals and drawings is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
