Overview

Are you an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? Our client is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join their team. You\'ll play a crucial role in providing mechanical maintenance and facilities services to their site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a company that values safety, security, and convenience and to be part of a team that supports each other to achieve company objectives.

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £37000 - £38000

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-1 (could be flexible on start/finish times for school drop offs)

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring our machinery and facilities are in top condition.

Responsibilities
  • Fault Finding & Repair: Analysing and repairing faults on plant and machinery, with a sharp focus on identifying the root cause to implement effective, lasting solutions
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conducting preventative maintenance inspections and taking proactive measures to keep our plant and machinery running smoothly
  • Machine Management: Carrying out scheduled machine servicing as well as installing, removing, and relocating equipment as needed
  • Site Support: Maintaining both factory and office working areas and providing support for key engineering projects
  • Safety First: Taking responsibility for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, in line with our established EHS procedures

We\'re looking for a proactive and skilled engineer who has some experience within manufacturing maintenance.
