Thorn Baker Industrial are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for one of our prestigious clients in Castle Donington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with relevant experience.

Our client is looking for a talented & hands-on individual to join their friendly team.

Maintenance Engineer Job Details:

1. Completing planned maintenance schedules
2. Responding to equipment/machinery breakdowns
3. Planning workload to minimise disruption of production
4. Keeping maintenance records up to date
5. Fault finding, repairs and break-down prevention
6. Servicing of tools
7. Machinery/equipment inspection & improvement on a regular basis
8. Some fabrication works (for tool maintenance)
9. Keeping inventory stocked in case of breakdowns
10. Buildings and other facilities maintenance
11. Basic plumbing & electrical jobs
12. Communicating with suppliers/contractors
13. Regular improvement of maintenance processes
14. General housekeeping whilst working
15. Other general maintenance engineer duties within the candidate's capability.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

1. Relevant experience/education within Mechanical Engineering (NVQ/apprenticeship Level 3 & above)
2. In-depth engineering process knowledge
3. Comfortable using a variety of tools
4. Good planning/organizational skills
5. Hands-on approach, ability to lead by example
6. Proven technical capability
7. Positive approach towards work
8. Ability to work without supervision
9. Team Player / Adaptable / Good work ethic

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
