Job summary

Travelodge is seeking a maintenance expert to support the East Midlands region, including Burton upon Trent. You will travel to multiple hotels daily and build strong relationships with Hotel Managers to keep properties well maintained and welcoming for guests.

The role involves fixing basic plumbing, wear and tear, and basic electrical works. A company van, tools and a phone are provided, with a 40-hour week (Mon–Fri 8:30–5, 1 in 3 Saturdays).

Qualifications

• Experience in day-to-day maintenance of a property.
• Ability to fix basic plumbing issues and wear and tear.
• Basic electrical works knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple hotels across your region daily.
• Build and maintain relationships with Hotel Managers to support property upkeep.
• Perform a range of maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical fixes.
• Ensure properties are kept in good condition and compliant with standards.

Travelodge has one of the largest in-house maintenance teams and we are looking for a maintenance expert to help improve our hotels to provide customers an unforgettable experience.

What’s it all about?

If you enjoy travelling and getting out and about, this could be a bit of you. You will be supporting your region East Midlands covering areas like Burton upon Trent etc. A big part of this role is building relationships with Hotel Managers to help maintain properties. There will be a variety of maintenance tasks you can get involved with including fixing basic plumbing issues, building wear and tear, basic electrical works just to name a few.
