Job description

A Maintenance Engineer position has become available within a business that provides products into the building products industry and is currently experiencing a period of significant growth. Maintenance Engineer key responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs and ongoing servicing of machinery on-site.
• Diagnose and resolve faults as needed.
• Keep manufacturing management regularly informed on progress.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
• React promptly to any machine breakdowns, solving problems efficiently.
• Follow company health and safety policies
• Monitor and maintain maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
• PLC fault finding
• Welding and fabrication

Maintenance Engineer desired skills and experience:

• Proven experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility with working hours and shift work.
