Qualifications

• Familiar with conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Additional skills in welding and electrics preferred.

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across the plant.
• Work with conveyor belt systems, mixers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ensure all systems are compliant with health and safety standards.

Monday to Friday 3 Shift – 06:00 to 14:30, 14:00 to 22:30 to 06:30 (Plus Occasional Saturday and Sunday Overtime For Essential Works)

Maintenance Engineer required to join an award-winning business who are specialists in the production of sustainable construction products. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company which can offer job security and stability.

To apply for this role, you will be a mechanically biased engineer from any industry background. Experience in heavy industry, such as aggregates, mining, waste etc. would be advantageous. You will need a working knowledge of conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Any additional experience with welding and electrics would be advantageous.

The successful engineer will be responsible for carrying out both preventative and reactive maintenance across the plant. You will work with conveyor belt systems, mixers as well as working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. You will ensure critical spares are in stock. Ensuring H&S is a key focus of the business, and you will make sure all systems are fit for purpose and compliant.
