Craft Engineering Technician / Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical)

Location: Bridgwater

Contract: Permanent - 4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am (2 days / 2 nights)

Are you an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Craft Engineer looking for a new challenge? Whether you're from a manufacturing background, the armed forces, or another industry altogether - we'd love to hear from you.

We're recruiting for a Craft Engineer to join our Bridgwater dairy, part of Müller Milk & Ingredients. In this role, you'll deliver hands-on maintenance across a range of manufacturing equipment, helping to drive plant reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and basic electrical isolations
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and equipment reliability
• Provide technical advice on engineering practices and maintenance issues
• Participate or lead BDRs, SEA, and RCA activities

What We're Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in engineering (electrical or mechanical)
• Practical engineering experience (sector background is flexible)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Effective communicator and team player
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Awareness of health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off rotating days and nights (2 days, 2 nights)
