This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking to work a shift-based role with a major manufacturing company in the area. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will join a stable team with low turnover and play a key part in the company's growth. The main priorities include ensuring the factory operates efficiently and production levels are maintained.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer

• Proactive maintenance and site preventive maintenance (PMs)
• Reactive maintenance and quick response to breakdowns
• Working on both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance
• Participating in engineering projects (e.g., commissioning, installations, relocations)
• Identifying and implementing process and machine output improvements
• Adhering to site health & safety rules and legislation

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Time-served or recognized apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering field
• Experience in a multi-skilled role covering mechanical and electrical engineering
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ideally with manufacturing experience
