Shift Pattern: Panama - 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights)
We're supporting our client, a global, leading components manufacturer based in Blackburn, who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have previous experience with automated systems, as well as PLC knowledge.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems, including electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Fault finding on PLC's.
- Diagnosis and root cause analysis.
- Maintenance on hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Ideally multi-skilled maintenance abilities.
- PLC knowledge.
- Experience with automated systems.
- Proven experience with various electrical systems and components, including low and high voltage equipment.
