Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to work a rotational 12-hour shift with extended time off between each rotation. Well-known manufacturers are looking to recruit a maintenance engineer and are ready to hire immediately. As a maintenance engineer, you will join an experienced and supportive team with a strong track record. You will be a key player in ensuring the factory operates efficiently and production levels are maintained.

Due to current team gaps, they are seeking a maintenance engineer who is electrically biased and qualified.

Responsibilities
  1. Proactive maintenance and site preventive maintenance (PMs)
  2. Reactive maintenance and quick response to breakdowns
  3. Primarily working on electrical faults and maintenance, with occasional mechanical work
  4. Participating in engineering projects (e.g., commissioning, installations, relocations)
  5. Identifying and implementing process and machine output improvements
  6. Adhering to site health & safety rules and legislation
Requirements
  • Time-served or recognized apprenticeship (or equivalent) in electrical engineering
  • Experience in a multi-skilled role covering mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, preferably with manufacturing experience
