Salary: £50,000 (OTE £57,000+)

Location: Cumbria

NEW Exciting opportunity has just arisen for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to work at a world-renowned FMCG company based in the Cumbria area. This company has been investing millions back into their factory, installing new machinery and expanding the amount of sites in the UK.

The Maintenance Engineer will be required to cover maintenance and repairs of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and collaborating with production teams to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
3. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure machinery reliability.
4. Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes.
5. Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
2. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
3. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
5. Relevant qualifications in engineering or related field.
