Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch

Shift Pattern: Panama - 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights)

Salary: Up to £52,000 Bonus Benefits

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe running of production operations at a well-established and high-performing food manufacturing facility based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing and site equipment
  • Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and maintain product quality
  • Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Create and update PPM schedules, maintaining accurate maintenance records
  • Ensure high standards in health & safety and food safety are upheld at all times
  • Liaise with contractors and oversee safe systems of work
Candidate Requirements
  • Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong multi-skilled engineering background (mechanical skills a plus)
  • Previous experience in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset
