Multiskilled Engineer

Are you a strong multiskilled Engineer?

Yolk recruitment is working exclusively with a SME Manufacturer in Ammanford that has been established for over 40 years. Trusted by thousands of customers across the globe, they pride themselves on providing a product range driven by quality.

This is what you'll be doing:

You'll work on a 2-shift pattern, reporting to the Engineering Manager to ensure the successful delivery of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) System. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing both proactive and reactive, multi-skilled maintenance on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
  • Implementing and adjusting the PPM schedule using Root Cause Analysis techniques to identify trends and improve machinery OEE.
  • Managing planned scheduling, overseeing adherence and timely completion of work, while ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Possessing knowledge of PLC interrogation and fault-finding through OEM Software.

  • It is essential that the applicant is a time-served, apprentice-trained Electrical Engineer, passionate about transforming operational efficiencies.
  • Experience working with a CMMS system is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels within the organization and with suppliers.
  • Ability to work as a constructive team member with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Professionalism and a positive attitude towards company strategy.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and deliver results under pressure.
