About the Role

Synergi is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Nottingham, whose products are used across the UK. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop and grow within a company that values its engineers. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to the maintenance and efficiency of production machinery.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Conduct reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed production machinery.
2. Respond quickly and efficiently to plant stoppages.
3. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to maximize efficiency.
4. Maintain a good understanding of processes, products, and quality procedures.
5. Oversee planned maintenance activities.
6. Diagnose faults and identify machinery issues.
7. Implement solutions to machinery problems.

Candidate Requirements

• Recognized engineering qualification in electrical or City & Guilds NVQ Level 3.
• Experience in heavy industry or FMCG, food, or pharmaceutical sectors (desirable).
• Experience with industrial 3-phase motor and control systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatic control systems and industrial bearing systems.
