Job description

Service Engineer - Electrically Biased
Airdrie | Up to £40k + Van + Fuel Card + 29 Days Holiday
Permanent | Monday to Friday

This is a mobile role, where no two days are the same. You'll be covering a wide range of sites across commercial, industrial, and nuclear environments, providing fault finding, breakdown, and repair services on overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting gear.

What you'll be doing:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on overhead cranes and hoists (wire rope and chain)

  • Reading and interpreting electrical circuit diagrams

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work across various client sites

  • Following H&S procedures at all times

  • Working alongside the wider engineering team to support client operations

What we're looking for:

  • Time-served engineer with a strong electrical bias (preferably from plant experience)

  • Maintenance or service engineering experience (essential)

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, early finish Friday (3:30pm)
