We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support the smooth operation of our production and research equipment. You'll be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance, with a strong focus on electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities Of The Maintenance Engineer

Maintain and repair a range of equipment including reactors, pumps, and support systems.

Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.

Perform basic PLC fault-finding and make necessary adjustments.

Carry out electrical installations and wiring.

Collaborate with R&;D and other departments to support ongoing projects.

Ensure all maintenance complies with safety standards and regulations.

Maintain detailed records of work carried out.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.

What We’re Looking For In The Maintenance Engineer

Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance (ideally in a production or R&;D setting).

Practical knowledge of industrial equipment such as pumps and reactors.

Ability to diagnose faults and perform electrical wiring and PLC troubleshooting.

Solid understanding of mechanical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics.

Strong problem-solving skills and calm under pressure.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Engineering qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics (desirable).
