A leading electronics company in Greater London is seeking an Operation Maintenance Manager to oversee electronic boards repair workshops. You will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, reinforcing best practices, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong electronic background, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in English. Additional language skills in French or Portuguese are advantageous. Frequent travels abroad may be necessary.

Description du poste

As part of our business, we repair electronic boards we develop to be integrated into our own equipment. The role requires one individual to take ownership to our 9 electronic repair workshops and professionalize them to a next level. We currently use state of the art equipment and repair a massive amount of board. Nevertheless, lots of them can’t be repaired as more time is needed to investigate and identify the causes of the fault. The role is to coordinate the workshops, improve what has already been done, identify constraints and practices, make changes, check performance, adapt, deploy and keep the pace in order to improve quality and boost production. At the same time coordinate the day-to-day activities and make sure workshops are well supplied and staff well trained.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise electronic boards repair workshops
• Reinforce best reworking practices across all workshops
• On going research on new technologies for reliability and efficiency
• Provide performance feedback and suggest changes on inhouse developed equipment
• Develop and customize best working environment according company policies

• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with local authorities and best practices
• Supervise all new talent acquisition related workshop activities
• Handle annual and monthly budget for workshops
