Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies working on a Static Site in Derby.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ level 2/3 or City & Guilds part 1&2.

The role involves working as part of a team on a distribution centre, undertaking a range of building maintenance duties. The purpose of this role is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.

Duties:
  • Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
  • Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment needed for maintenance are available and functional.
  • Attend other sites within the cluster as required, despite being aligned to a specific area for PPM tasks.
  • Work with company and client colleagues to maintain quality standards.
  • Represent the company professionally and develop good relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Perform tasks according to specific KPIs.
  • Monitor and update the Mercury system accurately, ensuring live job updates from you and your team.
Qualifications:

City & Guilds Part 1&2 in Electrical Installation OR NVQ level 2/3
17th or 18th Edition

Monday - Friday

Basic Salary - £41,000 (inclusive of standby)
