Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician in Redditch for a permanent role with a secure Ministry of Justice site. Salary ranges from £30,866 to £36,000 per annum.

The role covers planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and BS7671-compliant testing to ensure facilities operate safely. Benefits include a 39-hour week on a structured rota with 15% extra for 1 in 3 weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 electrical qualification and 18th Edition certification.
• Experience in planned and reactive electrical maintenance on site.
• Strong problem-solving and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across site
• Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs efficiently
• Undertake electrical testing in line with BS7671 standards
• Support safe, compliant and secure operations at all times
• Work independently and as part of the wider facilities team
