Hours: 37.5 hours - £1,950 per annum on-call allowance (1 in 4 rota) +
Overtime
Working on site - local to home and not working away.
About This Opportunity
We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a busy facilities team, delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a diverse portfolio of sites. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, from lighting and distribution boards through to fire alarms, BMS and EV systems, and who takes pride in keeping essential building services running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites and sectors
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and installation works across asset types including lighting, distribution boards & circuits, fire & intruder alarms, pumps, motors and control systems, BMS, PAT testing, HVAC and EV systems
- Carry out fault finding and repairs on electrical equipment and systems
- Complete alterations, installations and electrical testing in line with specification and legislation
- Respond promptly and positively to reactive call requests from the Helpdesk team
- Provide an on-call service as part of a call-out rota
- Compile quotes for installation and repair works, outlining materials and labour required
- Identify non-repairable issues and advise the Contracts Manager of findings and recommendations
- Travel to various locations to fulfil allocated tasks
- Follow instructions from your Line Manager regarding scheme and scope of works
- Carry out tasks in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Monitor and update the CAFM system
- Engage with Learning & Development and Health & Safety requirements, keeping training up to date
- Use resources and materials sustainably, recycling where possible
- Represent the company professionally to internal and external stakeholders
About You
Essential
- NVQ Level 3, AM2, City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance & installation
- Ability to maintain and repair a range of electrical systems to recognised standards with minimum supervision
- Full UK driving licence - no more than 6 points on licence
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- PC literate
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Commitment to delivering work to a high-quality standard
