• Monday to Friday on a single site in central Birmingham, during the following hours:
• Week 1: 7AM - 3PM
• Week 2: 1PM - 10PM
• Week 3: 8AM - 5PM
• One week in six call out paying £1350 standby per annum, with 4 hours paid if called out
• *Call out covers the local region beyond the single site where this role is based*

At ISS, one of the UK's leading Facilities Management providers, we are recruiting a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance team at a client's corporate banking facility in central Birmingham.

Working with other engineers, you will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, covering Low and High Voltage Distribution systems, final circuits, standby generators, load shedding equipment, UPS systems, batteries, Earthing, lightning protection, emergency lighting, and security lighting.

Some responsibilities include managing UPS load bank testing of batteries.

The role also involves some minor mechanical maintenance and fabric work, with tasks assigned via a tablet system, allowing you to work independently and manage your workload efficiently.

We offer excellent training, and the site is a modern, recently refurbished building equipped with new technology.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within specified timeframes to exceed customer expectations.
• Handle other building services maintenance tasks, including fabric, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to callouts as per the rota.
• Oversee contractor activities, monitor workmanship, and issue Permits to Work to ensure standards are met.
• Ensure all electrical equipment operates to performance standards.
• Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of contracted equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks promptly.

Requirements from candidates:

• Electrical qualifications and some experience in installation or maintenance work.
