Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician – Days Only – £43,000 + Benefits

Location: Easily commutable from Hampstead, Walsall, Wednesbury, Smethwick, Tipton & surrounding West Midlands areas

The Role – Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

• You’ll be part of our dedicated maintenance team, responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime in a fast-paced production environment. Duties include:
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing electrical & mechanical breakdowns
• Supporting continuous improvement projects, plant upgrades, and installations
• Working with electrical and/or mechanical systems (depending on skillset)
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations

About You – What We’re Looking For

• Qualified in Electrically– City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or higher)
• Ideally apprentice trained with a strong multi-skilled background
• Proven experience in manufacturing, FMCG, production, or automated environments
• Knowledge of Plc controls and robotics is desirable (not essential)
• A proactive, hands-on engineer who enjoys problem solving and working independently
