Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician for a leading UK manufacturing group based in Hampshire. You will perform electrical maintenance, PPMs and repairs across a heavy production environment, installing systems and supporting controls panels and motors.

The role offers a £40,000-£46,000 salary plus a production bonus and overtime. Commutable from Stockbridge, Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury and Basingstoke; standard Mon-Fri shifts 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy manufacturing electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Compliance with 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Initial and periodic Testing and Inspection (2391)
• Experience fault finding and repairing electrical components
• Experience with PLCs and control panels

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance (PPMs)
• Installation of electrical systems
• Work with contractors, control panels and motors
• Carry out safety tests and inspections
• Be part of a close-knit, skilled team that is growing and developing

Our client is a leading processor bringing together a wide range of established brands across the UK and Europe. The company produces a range of building materials using traditional and modern manufacturing methods. They are looking to bring onboard an additional maintenance fitter to their team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Electrical maintenance, PPM's, and repairs
• Installation of electrical systems
• Work with contactors, controls panels and motors
• Carry out safety tests
• Be part of a close-knit, skilled team that is growing & developing

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Be comfortable with working on electrical problems and faults within a heavy manufacturing environment
• 18th Edition
• Initial and Periodic Testing and Inspection (2391)

• Team player able to do ad hoc tasks when necessary
