Qualifications

  • Willing to undertake training courses.

Job description
Overview

We are currently working with a leading UK Facilities Management service provider to recruit a Maintenance Electrician, to work on a public sector site in the Pucklechurch area, Gloucestershire.

The role will be 40 hours a week, on a 4 on 4 off basis of 10 hour days.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out fault finding and defect rectification to items of electrical plant and equipment
  • Pre-planned maintenance of items of electrical plant and equipment
  • Installation of new plant and apparatus
  • Document inspection findings and pursue fault rectifications
  • Work as part of a close-knit team and independently when required
  • Participate on the on-call roster (currently around 1 in 8) with out-of-hours and weekend work as required
Qualifications / Candidate requirements
  • C & G Electrical Certificate or other recognised electrical trade qualification and must have served a recognised trade apprenticeship and qualified to BS7671 (Current Edition of the IEE Regulations)
  • At least 5 years associated trade experience post apprenticeship
  • Willing to undertake training courses to expand technical abilities if required by the business
