Job description

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join our small, dedicated and highly skilled team of maintenance engineers at our Omagh mill.

The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure mill performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of a modern, highly automated animal feed mill.

The Person:

• A time-served electrician with at least two years’ experience gained post-qualification in an industrial environment;
• Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace;
• An individual who is self-motivated and has the ability to diagnose and solve problems;
• Effective organisation, planning, and time management ability;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The hours of work are an 8-hour rotating shift pattern which rotates weekly; Saturday morning overtime is often available. Day shift is 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, evening shift is 4.00 pm to midnight, and night shift is midnight to 8.00 am.
