This role involves planned maintenance and timely response to breakdowns, working rotating shifts. The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering and experience in a manufacturing or textiles environment. This position offers a salary of £44,000 along with various benefits, including life assurance and generous holiday allowance.

• Diagnose breakdowns and perform electrical fault-finding.
• Maintain health and safety compliance.

The Maintenance Electrician will join a well-established maintenance team.

The role is commutable from Hyde, Denton, Manchester, Oldham, and Middleton.

The Maintenance Electrician will work rotating shifts: 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
• Respond to and diagnose breakdowns quickly and effectively
• Perform electrical fault-finding and repairs on textile machinery
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams
• Support continuous improvement projects
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Experience:

• Apprentice-trained Maintenance Electrician
• Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering
• Experience in manufacturing or textiles environment preferred
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience with textile equipment
