Job description
Overview

Newark based client is looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join their well-established team in Newark. This is a Full Time, Permanent opportunity. Salary: £44,000 per annum (£17.82ph basic + Shift Allowance and Bonus).

Responsibilities
  • Respond to breakdowns and repairs as required, and carry out all activities within the area of responsibility in accordance with current quality, environmental, health & safety policies, and ensure awareness of these policies.
  • Recognise and ensure necessary maintenance of all equipment involved in production and schedule maintenance at designated intervals.
  • Liaise with internal functions to ensure successful introduction and implementation of new / purchased production equipment. Control stock levels of required maintenance spares and parts by working with the Maintenance Engineering Coordinator.
  • Reduce reactive maintenance where possible by utilising and updating the MaintMaster system.
  • Contribute to product development through improvements in H&S, quality and efficiencies of the product, floor layout, process flow, methods, tooling, logistics and operational disciplines by working productively with maintenance and production teams.
  • Maintain quality checks / records in accordance with the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Continuously strive to improve processes and put forward ideas that may help the success of the business.
