Job Overview

Maintenance Electrician – Static Site, Solihull, £38,500 per annum plus plenty of progression and development opportunities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically trained engineer to join an existing team working in a high-profile site in Solihull. The company has a proven track record of internal promotion and invests in training and development on behalf of their employees. This role is mainly working Monday – Friday, with the requirement to work 1 weekend a month (2 days off in the week), in a company with ample opportunities for career progression and training, and the chance to join a well-established and friendly team.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of lighting and emergency lighting systems.
• Testing of emergency lights, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems.
• General building maintenance such as basic plumbing tasks.
• First line support on HVAC maintenance such as filter changes for air conditioning units.
• Assisting the other engineers on site with any tasks as reasonably required.

Qualifications

You’ll be a qualified electrician (City and Guilds or NVQ with 18th edition) with a good attitude and a desire to work hard and progress, as well as being hungry to achieve further qualifications and training.

On offer is a permanent position, paying a basic salary of £38,500 per annum, 25 days annual leave plus stats, as well as further opportunities to boost earnings via call out.
