Job description

Maintenance Electrician
Location: Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30
Call-Out Rota: 1 in 5 (with £100 retainer + minimum 4 hours pay)


We’re recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a growing building services provider. With strong demand and continued expansion, this is a great opportunity to secure a stable, well-rewarded role within a supportive team environment.

  • Overtime rates: 1.5 (Monday–Saturday), 2.0 (Sunday)

The Role:
  • Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
  • Supporting small installation and remedial works
  • Working within a multi-skilled engineering team
  • Regular interaction with on-site staff and stakeholders
  • Travel required between sites across the North West

What We’re Looking For:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ideally some experience with BMS systems (not essential)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
