• Mon to Fri on a single site in central Birmingham, on the below hours:
• Week 1: 7AM - 3PM
• Week 2: 1PM - 10:00PM
• Week 3: 8AM - 5PM
• One week in 6 call out paying £1350 standby per annum, and 4 hours work paid if called

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are recruiting a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance team at a client’s corporate banking facility in central Birmingham.

Working with other engineers, you will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, covering Low and High Voltage Distribution systems, final circuits, standby generators, load shedding equipment, UPS systems, batteries, Earthing, lighting protection, emergency lighting, and security lighting.

Responsibilities include managing UPS load bank testing of batteries. We welcome electricians looking to gain more experience with high voltage systems.

Additional mechanical maintenance and fabric jobs will be part of your workload, with tasks delivered via a tablet system, allowing you to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

This role offers excellent training in a modern, recently refurbished building with new equipment.

Key actions include:

1. Managing electrical PPM, reactive and proactive works within set timeframes to exceed customer expectations.
2. Performing other building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, and mechanical tasks.
3. Providing callout response as per the rota.
4. Monitoring contractors' work and issuing Permits to Work to ensure standards are met.
5. Ensuring electrical equipment operates to performance criteria.
6. Evaluating performance and maintaining service records accurately.

Requirements:

• Electrical qualifications and some experience in installation or maintenance.
