Job description

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to work on a large scale estate in the Hull area providing electrical and building services maintenance.

The role is a permanent position Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week (0800 - 1600) and pay is up to £37,300.00 basic. Overtime available (During the week 1.5/Saturday 1.5/Sunday & Bank holidays 2). On call allowance £1 per hour while on call (on call one in five). Pool van supplied for on call. Will require to have an enhanced DBS check done.

Maintenance Electrician Duties:

This role will be varied and will include, but not be limited to:

1. PPM tasks - including Emergency Lighting Inspection, Test and Repair, compliance checks etc.
2. Reactive Maintenance tasks to a variety of plant and equipment as directed by technical supervisor.
3. Fault diagnosis and solution identification/implementation.
4. Risk assessment.
5. Adherence to PPM schedule.
6. Contribution to continuous process/system improvement.
7. Accurate identification of faults and timely implementation of appropriate solutions.
8. Attend departmental meetings as required.
9. Embrace a collaborative learning culture with your team and the wider business.
10. Assist senior management as requested.
11. Clear communication with key stakeholders to ensure the team is achieving results.
12. From time to time your manager may ask you to do other reasonable tasks not stated within this role profile but commensurate with your position, such as basic mechanical and fabric maintenance.

Requirements:

1. Fully qualified time served electrician.
2. Hold 18th edition regs certificate.
3. Ideally some basic Experience of BMS.
4. Ability to demonstrate multi skilled / mechanical competency.
5. Ability to use computers to intermediate level for Word, Excel and Outlook.
6. Able to clear and enhanced DBS check.
7. Ideally valid driving license (or close locality to the estate(s)).
