• Mon to Fri on a single site in central Birmingham, on the below hours:
• Week 1: 7AM - 3PM
• Week 2: 1PM - 10:00PM
• Week 3: 8AM - 5PM
• 1 week in 6 call out paying £1350 standby per annum, and 4 hours work paid if called
• *Call out covers the local region beyond the single site this role is nominally based at*

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance team at a client’s corporate banking facility in central Birmingham.

Working with other engineers, you will complete planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, covering Low and High Voltage Distribution systems, final circuits, standby generators, load shedding equipment, UPS systems, batteries, earthing and lightning protection, emergency lighting, and security lighting.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing UPS load bank testing of the batteries.
• Providing support for high voltage systems, suitable for electricians looking to develop in this area.
• Performing small mechanical maintenance and fabric jobs, managing your workload via a tablet system with autonomy.
• Responding to callouts as per the rota, covering a local region beyond the site.
• Monitoring contractors and their workmanship, issuing Permits to Work, and ensuring standards are met.
• Ensuring all electrical equipment operates to performance criteria and is properly maintained.
• Maintaining accurate administration records and documentation.

Requirements from candidates:
