Maintenance Electrician

Questech are recruiting on behalf of their client in Barnsley for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

This is working a shift pattern of Days, Nights, and Afters.

Basic salary and shift premium up to £40,000.

• Enhanced basic pay and shift for Saturdays (x1.5) and Sundays & Public holidays (x2).
• Overtime regularly available at enhanced rates.
• Production bonus paid weekly subject to production targets being met.

The Role:

• Carry out routine electrical maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
• Diagnose breakdown problems.
• Fit new parts and ensure equipment is working correctly.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (P.P.M.) on all machinery.
• Deal with electrical breakdowns, unplanned problems, and repairs.
• Liaise with other engineering and production colleagues.

Required:

• NVQ level 3 in engineering.
• Previous experience in hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to prioritise own workload and multitask effectively.
