A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their Maintenance team in central Birmingham. This role involves electrical maintenance, covering various systems including low and high voltage, and offering autonomy with excellent training opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess electrical qualifications and will work on both planned and reactive tasks, ensuring high standards in service delivery and equipment functionality.

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance team aligned against the client's corporate banking facility in central Birmingham
Here, working with other engineers, you will complete planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site covering Low and High Voltage Distribution systems, final circuits, standby generators, load shedding equipment, UPS systems. This covers batteries, Earthing and lighting protection, emergency lighting, and security lighting.
There will be some managing UPS load bank testing of the UPS batteries.
*We are happy to work with a developed Electrician looking to became more familiar with high voltage*
There will also be some small mechanical maintenance and fabric jobs, from where you get jobs delivered to your tablet system, and can work with good autonomy to manage and deliver your own work load
There is excellent training available, and this is a modern, recently refurbished building to work with brand new kit
