Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An established national provider of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and Facilities Services is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Job Details

The successful candidate will work as part of a team on a commercial healthcare contract covering the M4 Corridor (Swindon to Slough and north to Oxford / Aylesbury).

Responsibilities

1. Perform Electrical Services, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs), Reactive Works, M&E repairs, and minor fabric repairs.
2. Ensure PPM adherence to engineering standards, health & safety regulations, company safety procedures, and contract specifications.
3. Respond to reactive work requests, including Mechanical & Electrical issues and minor fabric repairs.
4. Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as required.
5. Complete paperwork accurately and promptly according to company policies.
6. Provide engineering condition reports and quotations.
7. Conduct logbook audits.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven competence in Electrical trade with valid certifications.
• Fault finding skills; 18th Edition, C&G 2330 Levels 2 & 3, NVQ Levels 2 & 3.
• C&G 2391 Test & Inspection, PAT testing, electrical servicing, basic controls.
• Understanding of basic fault finding, condensate pump maintenance, and filter cleaning.
• Desirable: Experience with minor building/fabric repairs, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of building fabric maintenance such as carpentry, furniture, fittings, external fixtures, emergency leak repairs, and gutter cleaning.
• Additional skills: meter reading, emergency light testing, water temperature recording, alarm testing.

Salary

Circa GBP 40,000 plus package including vehicle, call out, etc.
