Maintenance Electrician
Location: Derry / Londonderry
Salary: £45,000
Day Shift | Full-Time | Permanent

A leading manufacturer in the Derry / Londonderry area is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their engineering team. This is a day shift role with an attractive salary of £45,000, offering stability and challenge in a fast-paced, high-speed manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on high-speed production equipment
  • Minimise downtime and support continuous production
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Work closely with the engineering and production teams to resolve issues quickly and safely
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all safety standards

What You'll Need
Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems is highly desirable
