We are working with a leading facilities management provider who has recently secured a major contract with the Ministry of Defence, covering multiple MOD sites across the East ofScotland.

Position: Maintenance Electrician
Salary: Up to £19.50 per hour
Location: Edinburgh and surrounding areas
Sector: MOD

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-supported, professional team working across domestic MOD sites. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical maintenance services across several buildings.

Key Duties for the Maintenance Electrician:

  • Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPMs)
  • Responding to reactive electrical repairs and breakdowns
  • Completing EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports)
  • Undertaking remedial works following inspections
  • Maintaining and repairing lighting systems and power supplies
  • Diagnosing faults across a range of electrical systems
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times

The Maintenance Electrician role is mobile, covering multiple sites throughout the East of Scotland. Engineers will benefit from on-site parking for easy access.

A brand-new company van is included (with optional personal use), along with a fuel card. The on-call rota (likely 1 in 6) offers £100 standby pay and a minimum 3-hour call-out payment.
