Job Description

Role: Maintenance Electrician

Salary: £36,000 - £45,000

Location: Alton, Hampshire

Role Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining production line equipment to support the production of a variety of products
  • Support production line personnel in achieving targeted output
  • Support site services and the general wider business with breakdowns
  • Work within clearly defined processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation
  • Provide a professional, high quality Multi-skilled (Electro-Mechanical) Engineering service following adequate training on specific equipment
  • Responsible for the electrical maintenance of production lines and equipment in accordance with product standards and specifications, to achieve required outputs
  • Participate in Capital projects and new equipment procurement e.g. Factory acceptance trials (FATs) etc.
Requirements
  • Qualified to City & Guilds level or equivalent
  • Relevant industry knowledge
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to use computerised information systems to retrieve, update and input all relevant data
  • Experience working within a fast-moving consumable goods (FMCG) environment
  • Strong Electrical / Electronic aptitude
  • Strong PLC skills
