Job Description:

*** Must possess a clearance at the TS/SCI access level, and have favorably completed a government issued polygraph ***

Primary responsibilities include installation of communications components and cabling infrastructures and other construction trades as deemed necessary. Responsibilities include:

1. Installation, removal, termination, and testing of electrical cables related to computer room raised-floor equipment.
2. Installation/removal of electrical cables, determining proper cable routing/termination, and installing connections.
3. Installation of cable tray and branch circuits in a raised-floor environment.
4. Installation of conduit/cables for general site-related electrical applications.
5. Performing a variety of electrical trade functions such as installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the distribution or utilization of electric energy.
6. Working from schematics, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
7. Locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment.
8. Using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.

Other general maintenance-related duties include:

1. Participating in design reviews.
2. Completing required work and safety permits.
3. Performing small job take-offs.
4. Coordinating team’s participation in site maintenance events.
5. Participating in various customer meetings.
6. Providing customer guidance on site installation requirements.
7. Performing a combination of maintenance and project tasks.
8. Being on call for after hours and weekend response to site for a one week period every six weeks.
9. Successfully completing training in United Kingdom electrical code.
10. Other duties as assigned.
