A leading hotel group in the UK is seeking a Maintenance Effectiveness Manager to lead maintenance teams across multiple locations. This role requires proven experience in multi-site operations, strong leadership skills, and a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hotel presentation and operational compliance, with extensive travel across the UK's hotels.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + car allowance
Location: Leicester based (3 days per week in office), with UK travel as required.

What you’ll be doing:
You'll lead and develop a high-performing team including Maintenance Support Managers, Regional Painters, and the Property Technical Support Manager, to drive effectiveness in how Maintenance Technicians work, learn, develop, and deliver. From training and engagement, to system support and cover coordination, you'll make sure Maintenance Technicians have the tools, guidance, and backing they need to keep hotels compliant, operational and well-presented.
You'll bring our maintenance strategy to life - embedding efficient processes, ensuring hotels receive the right technical support at the right time, and championing initiatives that improve maintenance performance and presentation standards across our hotels.
You'll make sure our hotels stay operational, safe, and well-presented - minimising out of order rooms and enhancing the guest experience through effective maintenance and compliance delivery.
From reviewing supplier performance to driving maintenance cost efficiency, you'll balance quality service with strong commercial thinking - ensuring we get great value from our people, processes, and suppliers.
You'll grow and develop your team with structured performance conversations, hand-on coaching, and consistent feedback. You'll also lead quarterly Maintenance Technician meetings and develop training programmes that raise skills and capability.
You'll ensure that hotel maintenance meets Atlas, brand, legal, and operational standards - tracking performance, supporting compliance activity, and working closely with hotel leaders to keep standards high and risks low.
