A UK healthcare organization is seeking a skilled Estates Technician to provide comprehensive maintenance at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. The role requires a Mechanical or Building Services apprenticeship, a BTEC HNC or City and Guilds qualification, and a current UK driving licence. Candidates should be prepared for on-call duties and have opportunities for overtime. Salary ranges from £29,970 - £36,483 pa with additional benefits.

The Estates Department provides a comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service of the buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust.
You must have served a recognised Mechanical or Building Services apprenticeship and gained a wide experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance with a BTEC HNC level or City and Guilds plus relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.
You must hold a current UK (manual) driving licence and reside within half an hour normal travel time to fulfil on-call duties.
The role is Monday – Friday with participation in an emergency on-call rota plus opportunities for overtime and weekend working. Please see attached shift pattern
Salary - £29,970 - 36,483 pa plus local RRP (£3,277 pa), with an approximate £1,000 pa on-call retainer, overtime, 27 days holiday & voluntary pension scheme.
