Are you a hands-on problem solver? We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join us at Appley Cliff.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week. Occasionally, there may be weekend work available at an enhanced pay rate.

About the role

As our Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient maintenance of the service and surrounding areas.

You will oversee designated ancillary staff and ensure the safety of the service and all equipment through regular checks and servicing. Tasks include decorating, fixing, replacing, and clearing to keep the premises in excellent condition.

You will also manage vehicle safety and coordinate repairs by outside contractors.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have relevant experience in a skill such as plumbing or carpentry, or in a similar role.
• Understand workplace safety principles.
• Be able to perform physical tasks required by the job.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Possess a Level 3 or 4 qualification in an appropriate skill (desirable).
• Have a valid driving licence (if required).
• Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
