Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents and team members; ensure the smooth running of the facilities; uphold a high standard of building upkeep.
  • Resolve home maintenance concerns promptly with knowledge of building systems and regulatory requirements (plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, equipment repairs, interior/exterior finishes, fire testing, health and safety checks).
  • Engage with approved contractors and source alternative suppliers as needed.
  • Cover emergencies relating to the fabric of the home or systems within the building.
  • Line manage the Maintenance Assistant where applicable, including day-to-day supervision, objective setting, annual reviews, hours approval, absence management and holiday authorisation.

Your focus as a Maintenance Coordinator is to maintain a safe and comfortable environment, ensure smooth facilities operation, and uphold general upkeep. Other responsibilities include the items listed above.
