We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a Fleet Maintenance Controller - Specialist Vehicles to join our growing Operations Team here at Holman UK. The role is based in our Birmingham office, near the NEC with the opportunity for hybrid working (3 set days per week in office, Tuesday - Thursday), following successful completion of a 6 month probationary period. This is a permanent opportunity and the salary is circa £36,000.00 per year dependent on qualifications and experience.
These roles will be responsible for looking after our specialist vehicle fleet e.g. platform elevating vans and HGVs, overhead poleing vehicles etc. Mechanical qualifications or good knowledge around vehicle compliance requirements and full appreciation of the necessity of vehicles and equipment being compliant is essential.
Ideally you’ll have workshop knowledge, couple with demonstrable and detailed knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics, preferably extending to include HGV and ancillary equipment fitted to vehicles. You will be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications - primarily Outlook and Excel. Qualifications or good knowledge around vehicle compliance requirements and full appreciation of the necessity of vehicles and equipment being compliant.
