Job description

A fantastic opportunity to work for a fast-growing FM Service provider, currently recruiting for a Site Maintenance Carpenter to work at a well-respected building service provider within a hospital site in Swindon, Wiltshire. This is a temporary to permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. There are excellent opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out general building repair and maintenance
• Change locks, door closures, and other door furniture
• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance with a carpentry bias
• Apply relevant trade skills to meet reactive maintenance standards
• Ensure health and safety standards are met on site

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in general building and maintenance repairs
• Relevant trade qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTEC National Diploma, NVQ Level 2 in a trade, or Building Maintenance Carpentry & Joinery are preferred
• Excellent client-facing skills are essential
