Job Description:

School Maintenance Caretaker

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector?

I am currently recruiting Maintenance professionals for ongoing TEMPORARY positions, supporting site teams in carrying out general maintenance and site work in Schools across the area.

Positions are FULL TIME AND PART TIME throughout the school year, with varying durations. There may also be an opportunity to move to a PERMANENT CONTRACT, although this is not guaranteed.

You must be available to start immediately and be FLEXIBLE with working hours, as some Schools require split shifts (e.g., 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.).

As a full-time temporary school caretaker, you are expected to:

  1. Carry out general maintenance and litter picking.
  2. Complete odd jobs delegated by the supervisor.
  3. Open and close the school building.
  4. Work independently and in teams to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  5. Set alarms.

You will need to fully register with us, providing right-to-work documents and obtaining an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, which we will process at a cost of £56.20 (unless you already have one registered on the update service). Please apply only if you can do this.
