witnessed the evolution of modern-day Edinburgh, offering a luxurious and
stylish city retreat with an authentic Scottish soul.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Assistant with a strong
background in painting and decorating to join our team. This role plays a vital
part in maintaining the hotel’s high standards by ensuring the property is
always presented in immaculate condition. You will also support general
maintenance tasks and coordinate with external contractors as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry
    out high-quality painting, decorating, and finishing work across guest
    rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Undertake
    general maintenance duties, including minor plumbing, electrical,
    carpentry, and repairs as required
  • Proactively
    identify maintenance issues and resolve them promptly to maintain a
    flawless guest experience
  • Liaise
    with contractors and third-party suppliers on-site, ensuring access,
    communication, and completion of works are managed effectively
  • Ensure
    all work complies with health & safety standards and internal hotel
    policies
  • Maintain
    accurate records of work completed and report any recurring issues or
    larger works required
  • Respond
    to maintenance requests from other departments efficiently and with a
    guest-first approach
