Job Description:
Job Purpose

This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across several sites. The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPMs. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date at all times.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Assist the Depot Maintenance Technician with any major or minor maintenance work.
  2. Complete the PPM and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and according to procedures.
  3. Respond promptly to service call requests from the Service Desk, assess the requirements, and carry out repairs as necessary.
  4. Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repair work within agreed timescales.
  5. Ensure all tools and equipment needed for maintenance are available and functional.
  6. Attend other depots to carry out work if required, despite being aligned to one site for PPM.
  7. Attend training courses as necessary and comply with the company's Health and Safety policies.
  8. Work with colleagues to maintain quality standards and assist city teams when needed.
  9. Represent the company professionally and develop good relationships with colleagues.
  10. Carry out tasks according to KPIs and ensure costs are approved following proper procedures.
  11. Maintain accurate timesheets.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in Building Structures/Maintenance/Engineering.
  • Full clean UK driving license is essential.
  • Previous experience in building maintenance is essential.
  • Ability to maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to respond to service requests promptly and complete PPMs on time.
  • Commitment to health and safety policies.
